A series of 8-week fitness courses will be conducted throughout the year offering excellently delivered sessions and advice to work towards a healthier lifestyle for men over 30 – free of charge.
Unlike big fitness/weight-loss chains that charge you for public weigh-ins and give very little guidance, information at Fit Rovers is completely confidential meaning you can keep a track of exactly how you’re doing on a 1-to-1 basis with the staff.
One session a week for eight weeks is included in the course, as well as incentives such as sports wear, Doncaster Rovers player visits and money off match shirts.
The sessions consist of an interactive workshop looking at managing portion sizes and making healthy but tasty food followed by a gym session tailored to the needs of every individual.
During the first course, first team Rovers players Andy Butler and Paul Keegan made an appearance to support the participants.
