NCS hit half way mark

The NCS team at Club Doncaster Foundation have already surpassed the half way stage of their summer target, after just two months of recruitment.

381 young people have signed up for the 2018 summer programme, which is over 50% of their 675 target.

The 15-17 year olds will enjoy three weeks of exhilarating and rewarding challenges based in the Lake District and Doncaster respectively as they build new skills and experience the freedom of living away from home.

Delighted with recruitment so far, NCS Officer, Tom Foy commented: “The number of sign ups we have is a reflection of how hard the NCS team has worked since we started recruitment.

Last year’s summer programme was fantastic, we had 584 young people enjoy the three weeks, so hopefully we can emulate the year with this summer’s target of 675 young people.

The whole experience is now only £35 with code NCSSUMMER18, and with accommodation, food, transport, activities and equipment all included in the cost so it’s no surprise that places are filling fast.”

As well as recruiting for the participants, Club Doncaster Foundation are also hiring for summer staff in 2018, with team leader and assistant leader positions up for grabs.
